I Got My Jaw Joints Removed and it Saved My Life

This is your first post. Everything above the --- line (title, date, excerpt, image, featured) is metadata the build script reads — everything below it is the actual post content, written in plain Markdown.

Formatting works normally

You can use headings, bold text, italics, links, and lists just like any Markdown file.

Set featured: true in a post's metadata to have it show up in the "Reader Favorites" grid on the homepage. The "Latest Stories" section always shows your most recent posts automatically, sorted by date — no flag needed.
